As of November 1st, 2012, Cam4 will be increasing the value of our tokens by a factor of 10.  This change will not affect the price of our token packages. Token package prices will remain the same, however you will receive new tokens worth 10 times as much after the change.
As a result, we’ll be exchanging your old tokens in for new tokens at a rate of 10:1, so for every 10 tokens you have, you’ll receive 1 of the new tokens.  In order to ensure a fair exchange, any remaining tokens in your balance will be rounded up.

Why are you changing token values?
Large token balances are difficult to manage. Smaller amounts of tokens with higher values are easier to deal with for both the performers and the viewers.

When will the change take place?
November 1st, 2012.

How much will tokens be worth?
New tokens will be worth 10x more than the current token value.

What will happen to my current token balance?
All remaining tokens will be exchanged for new tokens at a 10:1 ratio. Any remaining tokens will be rounded up, which ensures that our viewers receive the full value of their current token balance.

Will I lose tokens that aren’t tipped by November 1st?
No. The number of tokens in your balance will be adjusted at a 10:1 ratio – while the number of tokens will be fewer, the overall value of the balance will remain the same (or higher, as we are rounding up for your benefit).

Will token packages become more expensive?
No. The price of token packages will remain the same; only the value of the tokens will change.

Will goals and tips become more expensive?
The performers on Cam4 will set their own goals and prices to reflect the increase in token value.
